Deleting your CalBuddy account is permanent and cannot be undone. This action will:
There is no way to recover your data after deletion.
Only registered users (those who signed up with email, Apple Sign In, or Google) can delete their accounts.
If you're using CalBuddy in guest/offline mode, you don't have an account to delete. You can delete your local data instead.
Launch the CalBuddy mobile application on your iOS or Android device.
Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Scroll down to the "Privacy & Data" section near the bottom of the profile page.
Tap the "Delete Account" button (displayed in red). This button is only available to registered users — it is disabled if you're in guest mode.
A dialog will show you exactly what will be permanently deleted:
To prevent accidental deletion, you'll be asked to type "DELETE" (in capital letters) to confirm.
Type DELETE exactly as shown and tap the confirm button.
The app will:
This process usually takes a few seconds.
You'll see a confirmation message and be automatically signed out. Your account is permanently deleted.
You can create a new account anytime if you wish to use CalBuddy again.
Don't want to delete your account?
If you want to keep your account but remove all your food logs and health data, you can use the "Delete My Food Data" feature instead.
